Deepani Seth

Statement

This drawing is one of a series presenting what the artist remembers about houses she has inhabited in the past. In this process of drawing, the experience of home is gathered in the repeated mornings, afternoons, evenings and nights that form each day, and every day; in the cyclical yet shifting movements of light and shade.

Bio

Deepani Seth is pursuing a PhD in Architecture and Built Environment at the University of Tasmania.  Previously, she has worked as a design researcher in public health and early education. Her illustrations and text-and-image narratives have appeared in print. Some of her work can be seen at crowley.in.
