Craig Johnson & Madelaine Culver
Statement
What Are Words Worth? is a collaborative project exploring the possibilities of language beyond traditional understandings of the written word. Engaging with the lived-body experience of perception, this work combines the experimental practices of visual poetry and sound art to produce an audio-visual language that challenges binary understandings of semantic meaning.
