Statement

Uncausal Screenshots translate lived experience into drawing by capturing traces of interacting with graphically abstract computer programmes. The programmes navigated by mouse disrupt the body's ability to act intentionally in computational realms. The resulting lines are remnants of negotiating habitual patterns of habit and experience. 

Bio

Charlotte Lengersdorf is a visual communicator, researcher, and lecturer. Her work emerges from the intersection of type design, human-computer interaction, and creative programming, with specific interest in the nonsensical, undetermined, and unknown. She holds a PhD (2023) in communication research.
