Statement

In 'Duet', drawing translates a lived experience of mediation and negotiation through an embodied, sensorial dialogue between gesture, material, and other. A feedback loop of action and response, and listening and feeling shapes the interaction, where line forms, and is formed, by an improvised encounter. 

Bio

Sarah Tutt is a UK-based artist with a background in performance, which influences her drawing practice today. She holds an MA in Fine Art from Nottingham Trent University, where she is currently pursuing a PhD.
