Dr Adedapo Adebajo is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Marketing at Loughborough University. Prior to his appointment at Loughborough, he was a Lecturer in Marketing at University of Greenwich, London and also a Visiting Scholar in Social Innovation at the Tor Vergata University of Rome II, Italy.
He holds a PhD in Management from the University of Edinburgh, where he was a recipient of the Centre for Service Excellence Doctoral Scholarship Award from the University of Edinburgh Business School. He was also a research associate and member of the Scaling Business in Africa (SBA) research network at the same business school. Furthermore, he holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Sociology (BSc) from the University of Lagos, Media and Communication (MSc) from Pan Atlantic University, Lagos, and Brand Leadership (MSc) from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, United Kingdom - where he made a distinction. Adedapo has a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education, and he is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
In terms of his primary research interests, Adedapo is keen on service research, and he is particularly interested in examining the nexus between services and wellbeing. His current focus is on service design, ecosystem theory and value dynamics. Furthermore, his intellectual focus also includes the framing of Artificial Intelligence in public service innovation.
He currently teaches and leads modules in marketing, which are delivered to undergraduate and postgraduate students at Loughborough Business School. His teaching philosophy is informed by a learner-centred approach and evidence-based teaching, whereby students are empowered to be active participants in the classroom and co-producers of knowledge through case studies, group works and self-reflection.
