Join us for an inspiring talk and interactive conversation with global business leader and Loughborough alumnus Ian McLernon as he shares insights on leading with impact, navigating change and building strategy in today’s competitive global industries.

Drawing on decades of executive experience at the helm of world-renowned luxury and consumer brands including Rémy Cointreau and LVMH, Ian will explore the principles of effective leadership in high-pressure environments. Discover how global leaders develop and sustain strategy, manage uncertainty, and drive long-term transformation and success across international markets.

Ian is the Chief Executive Officer of Rémy Cointreau EMEA, Asia Pacific and Global Travel Retail, and a member of the company’s global Executive Committee.  

Ian has served with Rémy Cointreau for eight years, most recently as President and CEO of the Americas region based in New York, and previously as CEO of Global Travel Retail based in Singapore. Prior to Rémy Cointreau he held a number of general management positions with the LVMH Group based in Singapore, Hong Kong and London. He started his career at Bass Plc after graduating with a BSc in Recreation Management from Loughborough University in 1995.
