My research expertise focuses on the circular economy, net-zero construction, waste management, and sustainable construction management.
I have previously collaborated with researchers and academics from different institutions within the UK and internationally, comprising the United States.
Presently, my research activity at The School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering, Loughborough University, explores how circular strategies can be integrated with existing decarbonisation practices to accelerate the construction industry’s net-zero transition.

Profile
Currently, as a doctoral researcher, I am exploring the nexus of circular economy and net-zero for the sustainability transition of the construction industry.
I hold a BTech and an MSc in Architecture from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, respectively. I obtained an MSc in Construction Management from Leeds Beckett University, Leeds (with Distinction).
My industry experience as an architectural designer and 3D visualizer stretches across diverse residential, commercial, and recreational projects.
My research experience includes role as a Construction Information Associate at the Construction Informatics and Digital Enterprise Laboratory, Leeds Beckett University, where I supported the development of digital and AI-driven solutions for damp and mould prevention in UK housing.
