Our unique collection of resources has been developed over 45 years. We produce and disseminate quality, relevant and accessible knowledge products to meet the needs of academics, policymakers and practitioners working in various aspects of water management and engineering for development.

Papers are produced by WEDC staff for peer-reviewed international journals based on cutting-edge research into a range of subjects relating to water engineering and development.

Books and manuals represent our substantial body of knowledge in water, sanitation and related subjects developed over 45 years.

Guides and factsheets

WEDC Guides and other essential information and instruction about specific water, sanitation, hygiene and related subjects produced in handy formats.

Illustrations and graphics

A series of collections of computer graphics and art illustrations on many aspects of water, sanitation and health available under Creative Commons licences.

Videos and animations

A series of videos produced on aspects of water sanitation and health produced by WEDC and available under Creative Commons licences.

These mobile notes on aspects of water, sanitation and hygiene in low-income countries have been designed for smartphones and tablet devices.

Conference papers

Over 2000 papers from previous WEDC international conferences dating as far back as 1973 are freely available from our database.

Posters are A3 single-sided pages and are quick reference guides to particular water and sanitation related topics.
