Research laboratories

Below are details of each laboratory that staff and students can access for their research needs.

Toddler Observation Laboratory 1

This Toddler Observation Laboratory is primarily used for observation studies with the added facility of Noldus Media Recorder hardware and software, enabling a live video and sound feed with optional recording.

Toddler Observation Laboratory 2

This Toddler Observation Laboratory is primarily used for observation studies with the added facility of Noldus Media Recorder hardware and software, enabling a live video and sound feed with optional recording.

Observation Control Laboratory

This Toddler Observation Laboratory is primarily used for observation studies with the facility of a one-way mirror into Toddler Observation Lab 2. This Laboratory also facilitates a live video and sound feed with optional recording into the Toddler Observation Lab 2.

Tobii Pro Spectrum Laboratory

This Eyelink Laboratory is primarily used for eye-tracking studies with the facility of an Eyelink 1000+ hardware (up to 2000hz) as well as Eyelink experiment builder and data viewer software.

Eyelink Laboratory

The Eyelink Lab is primarily used for Eye-tracking studies with the facility of an Eyelink 1000+ (upto 2000hz) hardware whilst also utilising the Eyelink experiment builder and data viewer Software.

Seminar/Meeting room

This room in Wavy Top, WAV.104, is a great space for collaborative or independent working. The room is designed to facilitate seminars, workshops, collaborative meetings and informal meetings.

There is a main area with tables and chairs, a lecturn and a screen which can be used to present slides, or can be used with the room audio to host Microsoft Teams. 

For more informal or lunch meetings, there is a sofa area and for small collaborative work there is a pod with a desk and screen.
