Profile
Dr Rebecca Grant leads work on human form measurement, including research to better understand breast surface motion during exercise. Her work aims to improve sports bra fitting and comfort, supporting positive exercise experiences, and has involved long-term collaboration with industry partners including adidas. Her research also spans healthcare measurement, where she examines measurement uncertainty and human factors in diagnostic processes.
Rebecca has led projects such as Think Human and World Cup in a Box, which use exhibitions and interactive resources to demonstrate how human factors and ergonomics shape everyday life and sport, and to encourage more diverse participation in engineering careers.
