Profile
Josh Milburn is a Senior Lecturer in Political Philosophy. He is an expert on animals in ethics and politics, including questions about food and questions about warfare. He is the author of the 2022 book Just Fodder: The Ethics of Feeding Animals and the 2023 book Food, Justice, and Animals: Feeding the World Respectfully. He is currently researching, among other things, the ethics of our treatment of animals in war. He is also the host of the animal studies podcast Knowing Animals.
Josh is happy to speak to the media about the ethics and politics of the way we treat animals and the impacts of our activities on animals, especially in relation to food and war.
