Stuart is based in the International Business, Strategy and Innovation group within the Business School where he teaches strategy and strategic management.

Stuart is an experienced consultant who has worked with senior management teams and boards of directors to help them establish organisational objectives, strategies and enable them to develop organisational capabilities. Recent projects have included developing organisational innovation and an innovative culture for a Sport NGB; developing sector strategy for a third sector trade association; developing the skills and capabilities of the senior operational management team for a large retail chain.

Stuart has worked with social firms and supported businesses in evaluating market potential and developing commercial strategies that help achieve organisational purpose and goals. He has advised the board of the British Association of Supported Businesses (BASE) on their strategies to support members and influence government policies regarding the third sector.
