Research groups and centres

Jingsi Leng Joined Loughborough University as a Lecturer of Accounting and Finance in 2020. Prior to that, she has previously worked at the De Montfort University, as a Lecturer in Finance. She completed her PhD in Finance from the University of Hull where she has also worked as a teaching assistant.

Her research has been published in reputable international journals such as the British Journal of Management. She also serves as an ad-hoc reviewer for several academic journals.

She is a Fellow of Higher Education Academy.

Jingsi’s research interests broadly lie in corporate finance, corporate governance and behaviour finance. Her research covers a wide range of topics including corporate insolvency, dividend policies, managerial overconfidence and equity issuance market (IPO and SEO).

She is open to PhD applications.
