Dr Yue Xie

Biography

Dr Yue Xie holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Adelaide. She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).

Before join in Loughborough University, Yue was a Marie Curie Research Fellow in the Bio-Inspired Robotics Lab at the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on evolutionary computation and soft robotics and embodied intelligence.

She is passionately involved in fostering academic community and diversity, co-organising workshops at major conferences and leading initiatives like the "Women in the Robot" at Cambridge.
