Dr Sara Saravi

Sara obtained her B.Sc. degree from Tabriz Azad University in 2005. She received her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer Vision and Machine Learning in 2009 and 2013 respectively.

Sara has worked as KTP associate in ARM (formerly Apical), and as a Research Associate in Loughborough University between 2014 and 2018, where she continued working as a University Teacher until 2019. She was a lecturer in University of Derby before joining the Computer Science department of Loughborough University in 2021.

Sara is specialised and has specific interest in digital imaging, computer vision, data science, artificial intelligence and deep learning and have published extensively in these areas. She has also held various roles such as organising several workshops, coordinating departmental seminars and has been a reviewer in several international journals and administration roles.
