Profile

Rohana joined the Pearce Group at Loughborough University in November 2025 working to improve gene delivery for Alzheimer’s disease treatment. As a biologist by training, her work focuses on screening polymer vesicle formulations to determine the optimal chemistries for site-specific delivery of CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing constructs to neuronal cells.

Prior to moving to the UK, Rohana completed her BSc in Biology at the Rochester Institute of Technology in the United States. From here, she went on to pursue her MSc and PhD in Biomedical Sciences at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
