I completed my PhD in regenerative medicine and biochemistry, specialising in the development of polymer brush gradient surfaces for the precise control and differentiation of neuroblastoma cell lines, embryonic stem cells and neural precursor cells.

In my post doc role at the University of Oxford, I worked with primary rat hippocampal neurons, and human IPSC-derived neurons to develop high-throughput screening platforms for the discovery and identification of novel autoantigens in an autoimmune psychosis cohort.

Current senior post doc at Loughborough University, working on the fabrication of biological neuromorphic computing devices using human IPSC- derived neurons, within the UK Multidisciplinary Centre for Neuromorphic Computing.

I have a particular passion in the areas of regenerative medicine, stem cell and cellular therapies, with neuroscience applications.
