Based at Loughborough University and the International Centre for Informatics and Disaster Resilience (ICIDR), the Chair is directed by Professor Qiuhua Liang.

The Chair aims to advance multi-disciplinary knowledge and harness nascent computing and data technologies to develop methodologies and tools and, enhance global research capacity to better manage multi-hazard risks.
