I am interested in smart environment, participatory design, mixed reality, robotics and additive manufacture technology. With my expertise and research experience in digital architecture I set up and look after a new mixed reality research lab in the Sir Frank Gibb Laboratories to support related research and teaching.
My teaching includes digital and physical computational design, parametric design, digital fabrication mixed reality and robotics.
I have worked as an Experimental Officer in Digital Architecture in the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering at Loughborough University since 2017. I received my BArch (2008) from Nanjing Tech University and MA in Architecture (2011) from Liverpool School of Architecture. I also hold a PhD (2017) in smart environment and mixed reality studies completed at Sheffield University.
