Roles and expertise

I am an experienced technician, working in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Currently, I’m responsible for the following:

  • Maintenance and upkeep of legacy equipment and apparatus
  • Development of new facilities and test techniques
  • Electrical safety and compliance, including PAT (Portable Appliance Testing)
  • Supporting the Technical Apprenticeship Scheme

Other duties include:

  • Industrial Counterbalance Operator
  • First Aider
  • Mental Health First Aider
  • Fire Marshall

I have worked in engineering since the age of 18.

I completed an apprenticeship in the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical, and Manufacturing Engineering in 2018, and have worked alongside time-served and experienced technicians, to develop my own technical skill. I am eternally grateful for their support and guidance.

I moved into the role of Technical Specialist, in the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering in 2023.
