Research and expertise

I am a doctoral researcher (part-time) at the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering, Loughborough University.

I have interdisciplinary expertise in the built environment combining architecture, city planning, GIS/spatial data, BIM, digital survey methods, product management and data science.

Current research activity

  • Doctoral research project investigating metrics and assessment frameworks, data and emerging technologies to support the transition to a circular built environment. Recognising the built environment as a long‑term repository of materials, my research focuses on developing a robust methodology to predict circularity potential of the existing building stock

Profile

My professional background spans technical and product management roles, grounded in an academic foundation in Architecture and City Planning. With this blend of expertise in design, systems thinking and data analysis, I have worked across diverse built environment projects, from residential and non-residential buildings to offshore wind developments.

Alongside my academic research, I work as a Data Consultant for a research/consultancy organization focused on improving the built environment through science-led sustainability solutions, testing and certification.
