Entry requirements
Each of our courses has specific entry requirements, which may include certain subjects like Maths, depending on the programme.
If you're applying through Clearing, here’s what you’ll typically need:
- A minimum of BBC at A level.
- A minimum of 30 points overall in the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB).
- Students taking the Tawjihiyah/Thanawiya amma (General Secondary Education Certificate) will need to complete a suitable Foundation Year.
- English Language: You’ll need to meet the University’s English language requirements.
At Loughborough, there are many opportunities to gain experience in the real world, and apply what we have learnt in lectures. I completed an internship in Dubai at a highly reputable oil and gas company. It was my first real experience working in industry. I also had the opportunity to undertake a year in industry after my second year. Securing a placement at Hawk-Eye Innovations was probably my greatest achievement of my time at university.
