If you’re planning on studying a taught programme which belongs to our Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences department you may be eligible for a bursary or a scholarship. More information can be found below.

Information for entry in 2017/18

School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences Scholarship

Amount

20%, which will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account.

Criteria and eligibility

Applicants for the following programmes must achieve a first class degree of at least 75% or equivalent overseas qualification.

  • MSc Exercise Physiology

  • MSc Sport and Exercise Nutrition

  • MSc Sport and Exercise Psychology

  • MSc Sport Management

Students taking a degree in China must achieve:

Netbig Rank

75% equivalence

Netbig rank 1 - 250

88% or above

Netbig rank 241 - 500

90% or above

Netbig rank 501 and upward

92% or above

Applicants for the following programmes must achieve a first class degree of at least 70% or equivalent overseas qualification.

  • MSc Sport Biomechanics

  • MSc Musculoskeletal

    Sport

    Science and Health

Students taking a degree in China must achieve:

70% Equivalence

Netbig rank 1 - 250

83% or above

Netbig rank 241 - 500

86% or above

Netbig rank 501 and upward

All applicants will be considered for a scholarship on the basis of information contained in their original application form. There is no need to submit a further application.

Loughborough University International Alumni Bursary

Eligible programme

All postgraduate programmes within the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences

Amount

20% of the tuition fee, which will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account.

Bursaries are awarded to all self-funding International postgraduate students who obtained their first degree from Loughborough University and are not in receipt of any other University award.
