Loughborough University 25% International Scholarship

Eligible programme

All MSc programmes

Amount

25% of the programme tuition fee which will be credited to the student's tuition fee account.

Criteria and eligibility

Self-funding students who obtain a first class degree or international equivalent.

Students taking a degree in China must achieve:

Netbig rank 1 - 250

Final degree mark of 83% or above

Netbig rank 241 - 500

Final degree mark of 86% or above

Netbig rank 501 and upward

Final degree mark of 90% or above

Application procedure

If full supporting documentation is supplied with your application to study in the department, you will be automatically considered for a scholarship. No separate scholarship application is required.

Loughborough University International Alumni Bursary

All postgraduate programmes

Amount

20% of the tuition fee, which will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account.

Any other information

Available to all self-funding full-time postgraduate students who are not in receipt of any other University award and who obtained their degree (undergraduate or postgraduate) from Loughborough University.

Amount

Competitive scholarships to the value of 25% of tuition fee, which will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account, will be offered to students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement according to the criteria of the 3+1+1 agreement.

International, self-funding students studying at Chinese Partner Institutions who are admitted onto the Loughborough University China Partnership programme.

10% of tuition fee, which will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account.

A bursary will be available to all self-financing, non-EU international students on the above programme with a good degree (equivalent to UK 2.1 or above) who are not in receipt of a University or Faculty based bursary or scholarship.

Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Beijing Institute of Technology & Beijing Jiaotong University

Eligible programme

All postgraduate taught programmes offered by the School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering

Amount

20% of tuition fee, which will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account.

Eligible fee status

International, self-funding students studying at the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications graduating from the Queen Mary University Joint Programme.

Partnership awards

Xidian University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xian.

Eligible programme

All postgraduate taught programmes offered by the School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering

Amount

10% of tuition fee, which will be credited to the student’s tuition fee account for all students registering on Part CLP2 (final year undergraduate) and Part CLP3 (MSc) of the China Partnership programme.

Eligible fee status

International, self-funding students studying at Xidian University and Northwestern Polytechnical University who are admitted onto the Loughborough University China Partnership programme.
