Prizes which students can apply for directly

There are a number of prizes which students can apply for (ie. you don't need to be nominated by someone else).

Loughborough College of Education Commemorative Awards

Awards to assist students in English and Drama, Geography, Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences, and Design and Creative Arts, to enable them to participate in extra-curricular educational activities.

Ursula Lockley Travel Bursary

A bursary or bursaries to assist individual students or groups of students to undertake activities to promote Anglo-German relations.

John Guest Phillips Travelling Scholarship

Scholarships for full-time postgraduate research students to travel to extend their knowledge of their subject.

Lilian Elizabeth Bowmaker Fund

A bursary to assist a student to attend the British Science Festival or similar event.

Dennis Holt Travel Prize

A bursary to assist a student in academic-related travel.
