IT Services is taking steps to remove the Microsoft Silverlight plugin from the Windows-managed staff service from the week commencing 06 November.
The decision to remove the plug-in is due to the software being deprecated and no longer supported by Microsoft.
How will this impact me?
The removal will be done automatically on the scheduled dates listed below. There will be no visible message box and no prompts to take action on.
Removal of software schedule:
- Thursday 09 November - IT Services and Careers
- Thursday 16 November - Support Staff (Schools and Professional Services)
- Thursday 23 November - All Windows 10 Staff (Schools and Professional Services)
