Background
Before joining the Centre for Renewable Energy Technology research team, Alastair ran a small PV installation company called Current Generation (2010 onwards) and has previously worked as a project engineer for Photon Energy (2008-2010). This exposed him to the practical aspects of developing renewable projects.
Previous employment included spells at Remotes sensing specialists Infoterra and the Ordnance Survey.
In 2014 he graduated from Loughborough, completing the Renewable Energy Systems Technologies MSc via distance learning. Before this, he had completed a BSc in Geography in 2004 from the University of Southampton.
