ReVIEW is highly valued by students and existing users and students can benefit from using ReVIEW recordings in a number of ways, including:

• as a study-aid for revision
• to assist students who don’t speak English as their first language
• to help accommodate different learning styles
• to assist students who have particular educational needs
• to allow students to revisit complex content and digest at their own pace
• to assist with notetaking so students can give their full focus to their Lecturer.

Once your recording is made available, you can access analytics to see which students watched which video and for how long. This information allows you to identify specific areas where students spend more time-consuming content which can help you adjust your teaching accordingly, to address areas or concepts students are struggling with.

You can use ReVIEW to record other content, such as: 

• Staff training sessions
• Interactive student assignments
• Presentations and associated content for flipped classroom activities
• Distance learning

ReVIEW can also be used to live stream distance education courses, or other events like inagural lectures. 

In addition to this, the ReVIEW system is also available for use on your own PC so that you can record whenever and whatever you want to enhance your modules. Personal recordings can be edited and managed in the same way as those made in the lecture theatres and added to your modules in Learn.
