EDI Services Funding

From October 2023 EDI Services are introducing a process for all academic schools, professional services departments, staff networks and individuals to bid for funding for activities that are aligned with progressing equity, diversity and inclusion priorities at Loughborough.

Successful projects in 2022-23 included:

  • Open Day workshops for BAME parents and guardians of prospective HE students.
  • Facilitation and development of a student-led BAME support and social group in the School of Design and Creative Arts.
  • Why a PhD? A student-led community event exploring Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic student pathways into a PhD.
  • A series of community-oriented art spaces at Loughborough University London.
  • Funding places for staff network leads to attend the d&i leaders Empowering Employee Networks Conference.
  • Queer East Midlands Film Festival hosted by the LGBT+ staff network during LGBT+ History Month.
  • Inaugural BAME Staff Network Conference in London.

Please consider whether there is already funding available for this activity in the School/Department before applying.
