Before you apply
You might find it useful to read our guide below which provides an overview of the application and admissions process for our Masters Level Apprenticeship programmes.
Before applying please ensure that you or your employer have contacted our Business Development Manager, V.E.Unwin@lboro.ac.uk. Our Business Development Manager will work with you to establish your eligibility for funding via the Apprenticeship Levy and will guide you and your employer through the application process.
A summary of important points relating to the application process is provided below.
Preparing your application
You will need to complete and submit several documents with your application. These are listed below for your information. Downloadable templates are available below.
- Apprentice Eligibility Checklist and Declaration*
- Apprentice Initial Needs Assessment Form*
- Apprentice Agreement* (to be signed by you and your employer)
You will also need to submit following evidence in support of your application.
- Evidence of Maths and English Qualifications at Level 2*
[GCSE grades A*-C or equivalent]. Guidance on how to obtain copies of Maths and English qualifications is available at: www.gov.uk/replacement-exam-certificate
- Evidence of Qualifications [degree or highest qualification]
- Evidence of Professional Qualifications
- Copy of Passport
- Proof of Name Change [if evidence is in a different name]
- CV (if entry to the programme is based solely on work experience)
* these are mandatory documents which are required for Apprenticeship Funding
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you are unable to locate your certificates for your Maths and English Qualifications you should ensure that you start the process of obtain replacements as soon as possible. Guidance on how to obtain these are is available at www.gov.uk/replacement-exam-certificate.
Evidence of these prior qualifications is an entry requirement for the programme and a requirement for Apprenticeship Funding. Therefore, whilst you can start the application process without this information you should note that we will not be able to offer you a place on the programme until we have received the information.
