Pooja has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Aerospace Engineering from SRM Institute of Science and Technology (India) and a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree in Material Science and Technology from the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra (India). She has work experience as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (India).  

Pooja's doctoral project aims to synthesize ammonia using electrocatalytic methods, with a focus on designing a novel reactor and synthesizing proton conducting ceramic electrolytes. She has previously worked on energy generation using vortex induced vibrations (VIV), EDLC supercapacitor electrode materials derived from agricultural waste and flow-electrode capacitive deionization (FCDI) for desalination.
