Muhammad Asif is a PhD research student with a background in health. He has a Master's in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and is currently working on preparation, optimisation and characterisation of nucleic acid grafted nanoparticles, and studies related to metabolomics.

He has previously performed phytochemical screening of natural products, chromatography and antimicrobial assays. While being a health professional, he has served as a community pharmacist and in the production section of pharmaceutical industry.

Metabolomics by spectrometry and studies on knockdown effect of siRNA grafted chitosan nanoparticles. Microscopic evaluation and physicochemical characterisation.
