Emma Cooper

  • PhD research student
Date of start of studies: 1 October 2023
Supervisors: Dr Amanda Pearce and Dr Jim Reynolds
Research areas: Polymeric nanoparticles and Protein Coronas

Emma studied at the University of Warwick (2019-2023) graduating with an MChem (Hons) in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry. Whilst at Warwick, she worked on a masters research project looking at ice nucleation inducing macromolecules within pollen species, supervised by Dr Thomas Whale within the Gibson Group.

Following her graduations, Emma began her PhD at Loughborough University in the Chemistry Department, supervised by Dr Amanda Pearce.

Emma is investigating polymer-protein interactions in polymeric nanoparticle drug delivery systems.
