Structural Dynamics and Acoustics

Research activities of the Structural Dynamics and Acoustics research group are concentrated on structural dynamic and acoustic phenomena in Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering, with the aim to reduce noise and vibration in aircraft and road vehicles.

Activities we address include but are not limited to:

  • Vibration transmission through structural joints
  • Tyre noise and vibration
