For anyone considering a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, my advice is not to be intimidated by the content or workload. While it may seem overwhelming initially, there is abundance of support and resources available from the academic staff at Loughborough University to help you thrive.
I am currently in my second year, and I am in the process of applying for a placement opportunity. Loughborough has been proactive by offering CV checks, mock interviews and assessment centre preparation sessions. Additionally, they hold valuable lectures that guide you where to search for placements and how to improve your chances of securing employment.
After graduation, I intend to pursue a master’s in an Engineering-related course at Loughborough University to further expand my engineering knowledge. Then I hope to pursue a future career in a multinational company that prioritises goals aligning with my inner values. As a future Electrical Engineer, I want to help build a safer and more efficient modern world that has reduced dependability on non-renewable energy and higher environment consciousness.
