In terms of my course, I’ve benefitted from taking part in support and problem-solving classes that help to prepare students for exams. The help and feedback I got from my peers, professors and fellow students also contributed to my success.

As an international student, I’ve also been fortunate to have fantastic support from the University’s visa office team who made the process of applying straightforward and easy to understand. That behind-the-scenes support is so valuable, especially now that I’m looking at applying to continue studying here with a master’s degree.

I’ve embraced new opportunities since coming to Loughborough and I’m a member of the performance boxing team. Sport is a big part of Loughborough, but it’s not just for elite athletes. I started as a novice and I’ve found a really strong, welcoming community where you feel encouraged to develop by experienced student coaches. I’ve also had the chance to give back through volunteering at the local Loughborough Students' Union soup kitchen, which I found to be a very rewarding activity.
