The research and writing skills I have developed during my degree are crucial to the career in policy and advocacy I wish to pursue. The many opportunities I took to present my work have helped me hone my self-confidence and public speaking skills.
If I were to offer some advice to anyone thinking of studying at Loughborough, I’d say – talk to your lecturers. They are there for you whether by email or during their office hours. These relationships become even more important in your final year when you’re seeking support with your dissertation.
