Our Mathematics and Accounting and Finance degree is co-taught by department of Mathematics and the Loughborough Business School - one of the UK's leading business schools in national league tables.

The Department of Mathematical Sciences is a member of the London Mathematical Society Good Practice Scheme. The department actively strives to promote equality of opportunity for all students and staff.

The Department is located in the Schofield Building, which is based centrally on the University campus. The building has undergone a £4.3 million refurbishment to equip it with dedicated resources for mathematics students.

As a mathematics student you will benefit from our co-location with the Mathematics Learning Support Centre, as well as 24/7 access to nearby computer labs.

Our Mathematics and Accounting and Finance degree carries the option of a year-long industry placement or studying abroad with one of our partner universities, enabling you to broaden your horizons and gain valuable skills and experience.
