This degree is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM), comprising the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), Institution of Structural Engineers (IStructE), Institute of Highway Engineers (IHE), the Permanent Way Institution (PWI), and the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) on behalf of the Engineering Council as fully satisfying the educational base for an Incorporated Engineer (IEng), and partially satisfying the educational base for a Chartered Engineering (CEng).
The Industrial Advisory Board works with our academics to offer industry insight and help make sure our courses give you the best possible employment opportunities. The Board is made up of industry partners, including sponsors, employers and organisations we work with on research and enterprise. It includes representatives from across different parts of the industry, as well as regional representatives from the accrediting bodies.
