Why did you choose to study your programme at Loughborough University?
The quality of the course and the reputation of the University.
Why did you choose to continue onto further study?
To change my topic of qualification.
What were you doing before starting the programme?
I travelled in New Zealand for six months and then worked in sales for a further six months.
What did you love most about your course?
The course, everyone on it, and the lecturers themselves (especially Dr Iain Coyne). My favourite module in particular was Wellbeing at Work.
What kind of support did you receive?
I received support with my studies as well as pastoral support.
What was a typical day like for you as a student at Loughborough?
I lived off campus so a typical day for me involved walking on-site to lectures or the Library. This was usually with friends as I also lived with someone on the same course, or met up with other friends there. When I wasn't studying, there were plenty of social plans with other postgraduate students.
How did you find the social atmosphere/postgraduate community on campus?
We had a great group on our cohort and we did a lot of stuff socially together.
How did your time at Loughborough develop your employability?
It allowed me to be skilled in a really employable area.
What has been your career journey after your MSc?
All of my roles have been in workplace wellbeing and I am now a Workplace Wellbeing Consultant.
What would you say to someone considering studying at Loughborough?
Go for it! You won't regret it.
What was your favourite thing about being a Loughborough student?
The sense of community on the course.
