My research focuses on next-generation wireless communication systems, which demand low latency, high capacity, and higher data rates to reliably support an increasing number of users and applications. As existing communication bands approach their capacity limits, there is a need to explore higher frequencies, such as millimeter waves. However, these higher frequencies bring new challenges for wireless communication.

To address these challenges, I propose a new type of antenna capable of easily switching the direction of its radiation beam in and producing multiple beams to simultaneously serve multiple users. It is a simple design with fewer switches that allows easy integration into 5G base stations.
