Santander Start Up Fund

Are you close to launching or have recently launched a Start Up venture? Applications for the Santander Start Up Fund 2026 are now open.
Apply now for your chance to be one of three founders awarded a £5,000 Santander Start-Up grant, to help take the next step with their business.
Application process:
1. Complete the Application Form
2. Request a copy of the Pitching Criteria via LEN@lboro.ac.uk
3. Submit a 3-minute video pitch to LEN@lboro.ac.uk via WeTransfer
4. Submit your financial breakdown to LEN@lboro.ac.uk detailing your £5,000 funding ask
Applications close Wednesday 24th June 2026 at 5.00pm
Eligibility:
The Santander Start Up Fund is open to current Loughborough University students (undergraduate and post-graduate) or recent graduates who are within two years of their graduation date (Summer 2024 or later).
Unfortunately, the fund is restricted to those with residency status for the UK.
Applicants must have previously engaged with the Loughborough Enterprise Network (LEN) through events, programmes, 1:1 business advice or events.

Start Up Lab at EHB
Got a business idea or need advice on how to take the next step in your venture?
Start Up Lab Drop-Ins are your chance to chat informally with one of our LEN staff members and get practical guidance tailored to you.
Whether you’re just exploring an idea or already working on a business, no appointment is needed, just drop in and start the conversation.
When: Monday–Friday, 11am–3pm (during term times)
Where: Start Up Lab, upstairs in EHB Room 2.02 (Enter via the door to the left of the main EHB entrance and head up the stairs. Accessible route is via the EHB lifts and through EHB 2.03.)
