If your answer is YES, then look no further! Balfour Beatty and the Association For BME Engineers (AFBE) will be running a Transition Event on Wednesday 26th February, 1:30-6PM in Sir David Davies DAV1103 (AACME/ WMEME) and DAV1109 (ABCE).
*Open to BAME ABCE, Wolfson and AACME students. A priority of attendance will be given to second and pre-placement students of black African/ Caribbean and South Asian Indian, Bangladeshi and Pakistani. This role has been created as a Positive Action initiative (Section 158, Equality Act 2010) to address the gap in degree attainment between black and white students at Loughborough University and is permitted under Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Whilst the majority of companies hiring will operate in your best interests there are some people that will take advantage of students new to the landscape and try to target you in recruitment scams, or post fake job postings online. This webinar will discuss how you can identify a fake job and stay safe from falling prey to a job scam.
