Work Opportunities and Events Manager

 

ILM Level 3 Leadership & Management, PRINCE2 Foundation, TICTA First Aid at Work Qualified, Member of the Graduate Futures Institute.

Chris’ role is to lead Careers Network’s work experience and opportunity generation activity designed to positively impact on student experience, APP targets and graduate outcomes through meaningful work-based learning opportunities, including internships, placements, micro-placements, and graduate opportunities. He also leads on the development and delivery of sector-leading employer events, supporting employers in their student engagement activity as well as leading income generation potential.

Chris Joined Careers Network in 2017, initially supporting The University’s Access & Participation Plan activities.  Since then, he has worked supporting Businesses, Academic Schools and students with undergraduate and postgraduate placements. Chris is also a member of the Careers Network Management Team. After first joining the University in 2013, Chris coordinated the Student Services Information Team, having previously worked in the Academic Registry and IT at Nottingham Trent University.
