Emma Bishop
Student Enterprise Manager
BA (Hons) Knitwear Design, ILM Level 3 in Coaching & Mentoring, Associate Organisational Member of the Association for Coaching (AOMAC), Member of the Graduate Futures Institute.
Emma's role is to lead the Student Enterprise Team to support students and graduates in developing entrepreneurial skills. Through a range of networking events, workshops, courses, competitions, advice sessions and funding, students and graduates are given the tools to develop their ideas and launch their business.
Emma joined Careers Network in December 2022, having spent the previous 8 years at Loughborough Students’ Union as Enterprise and Engagement Manager moving to Student Communities Manager. Graduating with a degree in fashion textiles she went on to design and supply high street chains with womenswear. Before moving to LSU, Emma became Design Director for a start up company supplying spas globally with textiles and spa wear for therapists. Now as Student Enterprise Manager, she is passionate about supporting students to develop entrepreneurial skills and bring their business ideas to life.
