Through monthly mentoring sessions, you'll benefit from the experience and insight of your mentor, gaining valuable advice, encouragement, and guidance as you navigate and plan for your future. This is a unique opportunity to build a meaningful connection with someone who understands your ambitions and can help you take the next steps with confidence.

Designed give you dedicated time and space to focus on your dissertation or final year project, away from everyday distractions. The retreats include interactive workshops led by Library staff, Academic Language Support Services, and the Student Success Team, covering key skills such as research, academic writing, and time management. Alongside these sessions, you’ll have protected time to start or make progress on your dissertation, with support on hand throughout to guide and motivate you.

Dissertations and Final Year Projects are often the first opportunity for Finalist (Part C) students to manage a large, independent piece of work. We know this can feel overwhelming, especially as these projects carry significant weight towards your overall degree.
