Placement and Study Abroad

A work placement or study abroad year is likely to be rewarding and enjoyable with the opportunity to gain valuable skills and knowledge.

However, it’s important before committing to a Part I year to be clear about your finances. Most UK funded placement/exchange students will be able to access some student funding.

Students from Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland should check their student finance provider for maintenance loan figures, as funding varies according to provider:
