BA (Hons) English, MA Career Development and Employability, Level 7 in Career Development, Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), Associate Organisational Member of the Association for Coaching (AOMAC), Member of the Graduate Futures Institute.
Emma provides 1:1 and group coaching to help students achieve academic success, working with them to increase their motivation and reach their full potential. Through in-person and virtual delivery, Emma researches and delivers on a range of skills, including time management, organisation, prioritisation, procrastination and perfectionism, work/life/study balance, study planning, routine setting and presentation skills. Emma mainly works with Foundation, Part A and B students leading on group peer mentoring programmes for first years and 1:1 peer mentoring for Part B.
Having graduated from Loughborough University, Emma has worked in Higher Education since 2018, joining the Student Success Academy at Loughborough in 2022. Prior to this she worked in various careers services supporting students 1:1 and in groups.
