Victim First

If you have been subject to or witnessed a crime you can receive support from Victim First.

Victim First University Support. Victim First provide support sessions on campus for staff and students impacted by crime. Book a slot between 12-3pm via the student portal. Dates available are 17 Sep, 15 Oct, 19 Nov, 10 Dec, 21 Jan, 18 Feb, 18 Mar, 15 Apr, 20 May and 17 June.

Victim First are a free, independent and confidential service supporting victims and witnesses of crime across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Their caseworkers offer free, confidential, and independent advice and tailored support to meet your needs. You can find more information on the Victim First website.

In the 25/26 Academic Year, Victim First are offering support to students between 12:00 and 15:00 on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 1th September 2025
  • Wednesday 15th October 2025
  • Wednesday 19th November 2025
  • Wednesday 10th December 2025
  • Wednesday 21st January 2026
  • Wednesday 18th February 2026
  • Wednesday 18th March 2026
  • Wednesday 20th May 2026
  • Wednesday 17th June 2026

These appointments can take place in person or they can be delivered remotely.

Victim First also offer an anonymous service for domestic and sexual violence called Qwell.
