Researchers - Finding evidence for your systematic review (In person)

This session will explore this methodology ensuring you will be able to construct a strong search strategy including using thesauri and indexes to find alternative search terms, and use advanced search techniques such as phrase and proximity searching. We will discover how to conduct a nested search in a database and how to utilise database options to ensure the search is as comprehensive as possible. The session will include demonstrations and time to practice searching for information on the participants own devices.

The workshop builds on learning from the ‘Conducting your search’ workshop; prior attendance at these courses is recommended but not essential.

Completion of the online ‘Planning your Systematic Review’ course on Research Central is highly recommended as this workshop assumes participants have knowledge of systematic reviews and the procedures required to conduct them.
